Web/Email Hosting Acceptable Use Policy



Customers are not allowed to use our web/email hosting service for the following purposes:


  1. Hosting content that violates, attempts to violate, or helps any third party to violate the Philippine, local, or international laws, ordinance, or regulation.
  2. Hosting content that is illegal, threatening, obscene, indecent, pornographic, abusive, harassing, libelous, defamatory, deceptive, fraudulent, invasive of another's privacy, inaccurate, controversial, or that otherwise could adversely affect any individual, group or entity.
  3. Hosting adult, sexually explicit, or pornographic content. We do not allow any kind of porn sites.
  4. Offering free web hosting, free email, free blogging, and free image hosting services.
  5. Hosting content that contains viruses, corrupted files, or any other similar software or programs that may damage or compromise computers.
  6. Hosting content that violates policies of other organizations
  7. Hosting content that violates the rights of any person, including rights protected by copyright, trade secret, patent or other intellectual property or similar laws or regulations including, but not limited to, the installation or distribution of "pirated" information content or data or other software products that are not appropriately licensed for use by Customer. Customer shall be responsible for determining what laws or regulations are applicable to its use of the services and products.
  8. Hosting content that adds, removes, or modifies identifying network header information in an effort to deceive or mislead any person. Additionally, attempting to impersonate any person by using forged headers or other identifying information is prohibited. However, the use of anonymous remailers or nicknames does not by itself constitute impersonation, unless such use is made with the intent to deceive, defraud, or mislead any person or to violate any applicable laws or regulations
  9. Collection, attempts to collect, or helps any third party to collect personal information about third parties without their knowledge or consent or in a manner that violates applicable laws concerning privacy.
  10. Hosting content that overloads our network of servers.
  11. Effecting security breaches or disruptions of internet communication and/or connectivity. Security breaches include, but are not limited to, accessing data of which the Customer is not an intended recipient, logging into a server or account that the Customer is not expressly authorized to access, or exceeding the access to a server or account that has been granted to the Customer. For purposes of this section, "disruption" includes, but is not limited to port scans, flood pings, email-bombing, packet spoofing, IP spoofing, and forged routing information.
  12. Circumventing user authentication or security of any host, network or account.
  13. Interfering with or denying service to any user other than users of the Customer's host (examples: denial of service attack or distributed denial of service attack).
  14. Using any program script/command, or sending messages of any kind such as a punter, designed to interfere with or to disable, a user's terminal session, via any means, locally or via the Internet.
  15. Falsifying address information or otherwise modifying e-mail headers to conceal the sender's or the recipient's identity.
  16. Operating Internet Relay Chat ("IRC") servers.
  17. Hosting content related to HYIP, autosurf, proxy, torrents.
  18. Hosting illegal/non-licensed software, mp3, or any digital product.
  19. Running any background processes on the server without authorization from our network administrators.
  20. Running Cron jobs with less than 15 minutes interval.
  21. Sending more than 200 emails per hour per domain from web hosting account.
  22. Sending more than 500 emails per day from email account.
  23. Using our servers for email marketing purposes, mass mailing, or email blast.
  24. Hosting of malware is strictly forbidden. If your account is hosting malware we may suspend and delete the files in your account to prevent further damage. A backup of your files may be provided.
  25. Hosting outdated software. Customer is responsible in ensuring customer-installed software is updated and free of security vulnerabilities.


Web/Email Hosting Storage/Bandwidth Restrictions

All accounts start with 2GB website disk space and 100GB bandwidth. Dedicated email accounts starts at 5GB disk space, upgradable up upon request. When the account's disk space/bandwidth is nearly full, a request for increase can be made at our helpdesk as long as the account is within the below restrictions. As customers you are not allowed to:

  1. Store files not used by your website
  2. Use your account for file storage purposes
  3. Offer unlimited server resources to end-users
  4. Exceed beyond 10,000 files per Cpanel account (for base plans)
  5. Exceed 2GB worth of total email space (for legacy Cpanel-based email accounts)
  6. Exceed 2GB worth of total database disk space per Cpanel account
  7. Store or stream music or video files
  8. Store files which are beyond 2MB (an average web page is less than 1MB)
  9. Use unoptimized assets in a web page
  10. Exceed a weekly average of 5,000 unique visitors per day per Cpanel account
General notes

  1. Kindly understand that this is a shared server.
  2. We must ensure that no account will hog significant resources from other accounts in the server.
  3. If you go beyond the above restrictions then that means your account is suited for dedicated resources instead of shared.
  4. Increase in website disk space and bandwidth are given at 1GB and 25GB increments respectively for eligible users.
